Taking the Oath
Welcome witches! I invite you to join my online coven. I expect you to take this oath seriously for your journey through my blog and for your greatest benefit of the information I have provided. This is very exciting! Lets commit to learning together. Feel free to contact me anytime or comment on my posts so we can learn from each other. If you have never learned about Witchcraft before but are curious this is the perfect place to be. I have spent years researching topics I find interesting and have created a guide to discovering your own spirituality. I hope to inspire you to further your research and deepen your knowledge of yourself. I also hope to open your eyes to see the beauty of the world all around us, savor moments, spread kindness, and most of all find your own peace within yourself. If you struggle with anxiety or depression this is a safe place to learn the ways I have discovered to keep my mind calm and collected. Take control of your own destiny and your mind.
If at anytime during the Oath you feel you do not agree with it you can stop right there. I suggest going back to meditation until you feel ready to fully commit to the oath's incantation. You may repeat this oath anytime you are feeling lost in your craft or drained of your energy.

Oath of West Wic
- Find a space that is quiet and undisturbed.
- Sit in a comfortable position with good posture. It is optional to light white candles or incense for this.
- Close your eyes and meditate on an activity that makes you happiest for three minutes.
- After, reflect on the activity you had in mind. What is the activity? Why does it make you feel happy? Do you have good intentions for yourself and others while performing this activity?
- Next place your dominant hand on your third eye.
I cleanse my mind of negative thoughts toward myself or other beings.
I cleanse my mind of the darkness and only leave space for the light.
- Imagine a ball of light beaming from your third eye. This light is a calming white-yellow color and it is as bright as a lighthouse.
I life by the sun and love by the moon. I see the light even in the darkest night. I am guided by the devine.
- Place both hands on your heart chakra.
I give and receive love. I love myself unconditionally. I am choosing now to leave the past behind me and move forward into the space of love and kindness. I will never ask for someone else's love without their consent.
I will never ask for harm to another being or to myself.
- Place both hands out in front of you, palms up.
I understand the power that comes with great knowledge.
I understand the power I have in my actions and I realize there will be great consequences for negative actions.
I promise to use my power in good intentions.
I promise to try working toward my desires before using the craft to obtain them.
I promise to clear my mind and heart of any negativity or hate before performing a ritual.
I will never place myself higher than others.
I will not give into pride, greed, or envy.
- Sit on this oath for as long as you need. Repeat as many times as you want and as often as you want.
I understand that if my spells do not prevail it was not in my destiny.
As above, so bellow, as I am so is this oath,
My coven is that of West Wic
